The way I envision these meetings going forward is that we will get together not just to discuss the car but also to find out about the person behind the car, what they do at work, how they got into cars, and things like that. I would like to see people after the meeting saying things like "Hey, I met these guys/girls at the Honda meeting and they are really nice people, I would like to be friends with them even outside the meetings'.

I will be bringing food based on the estimated number of people showing up, so please try to RSVP if you are going to go, that way I can try to bring enough food. Feel free to bring your own food as well, it doesn't hurt to have extra food at a social gathering and I don't know what everybody likes.

Also, while my preference is for Honda's, while I am managing this stuff nobody is getting turned away if they drive something else. I would rather see a lot of people getting together and making friends while talking about non-Honda's rather than 2 or 3 person meetings that only talk about Honda's.

The meetings can go as long as people are willing to stay there. The only way I am leaving before the last other person is if work calls me out.

Directions to get to Veterans Park are:

Get on I-95 and go to exit 1 5 8 A east towards Woodbridge, going south down 95 you go under the Prince William Parkway bridge and then back over the top of it. After crossing over the bridge and going down the hill you hit Route 1.

Take a right on Route 1 and go Southbound.

Go 1 mile. When you see the Shell gas station turn left at that intersection onto Featherstone road.

Go all the way until you go over train tracks and turn left (continues on as Featherstone road).

Go straight all the way until you enter the park.

The preferred meeting location is all the way to the back and curve around to the left, there is a small baseball field there and a grill off by itself.

People should call me when they get there at [masked] though to make sure that it isnʼt taken. If it is I will have picked out another spot and will be able to direct people to it.

Everyone should make it there OK with those directions, if not call me and I will try to help you make it there ok.
